HALE is an educational health and fitness tool. It takes the constraints you tell us about — your time, budget, equipment and goals — and produces a weekly plan of training, nutrition and lifestyle actions, each linked to published research.

HALE is not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, and no part of it is supervised by a clinician on your behalf. See the health disclaimer for what that means in practice.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Keep your login details private — you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Give us accurate information about yourself: the plan HALE builds is only as good as the numbers you enter.

You can delete your account at any time from the You tab, or by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL].

Please do not:

• Copy, scrape or resell the study library, plans or other content.
• Try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use the service to give health advice to other people as if it were your own.
• Upload anything unlawful, or anyone else's personal data.

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

[PRICING TERMS — to be completed before launch.] Where a paid plan applies, the price, billing period and any free trial will be shown clearly before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Nothing here removes your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK, including any right to cancel a distance contract within the statutory cooling-off period.

We summarise published research in plain English and grade how strong that evidence is. We try hard to be accurate and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out, but summaries are interpretations, research moves on, and general findings do not always apply to an individual. We do not promise any particular result from following a plan.

The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for outcomes arising from your decision to follow (or not follow) a recommendation.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. You can stop using HALE at any time; we may end your access if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
